Dolores Huerta Earrings
Dolores Huerta is an American labor leader and civil rights activist who, with Cesar Chavz, is a co-founder the United Farm Workers (UFW). This iconic photo was taken during the 1965 Delano Grape Workers' strike ('huelga' means strike in Spanish).
These earrings are made with stainless steel leverback earwires, which are super secure and hypoallergenic. The photograph setting is 12mm, smaller than an M and M. Another cool thing about these earrings is that they're double sided - on the back, I use various images of fruits and flowers from Victorian-era seed packets. I love these.
Each pair of the Radical Women earrings come packaged in our signature reusable gift tins, wrapped in recycled map paper.
